EAFHC – West Memphis
Addiction and Mental Health Therapist
Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Addiction and Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide clinical behavioral health services in a manner that upholds the health center's mission, quality standards and results in improved health outcomes, overall satisfaction and compliance to operational and fiscal capacity of the health center. The therapist will play a vital role in promoting recovery, resilience, and overall well-being for diverse patient populations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, including individual and group therapy.
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant
Description:
The Medical Assistant supports physicians as part of the care team by assisting with patient care, counseling, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate
- Ability to greet people and be courteous
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) required
- Completion of continuing education credits as required for Medical Assistant certification

Certified Pharmacy Technician
Description:
The pharmacy technician provides vital support in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions and health-care products. They operate under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of medications to patients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Current Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy licensure for Pharmacy technician.
- A minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience or certification.
- Ability to input data on the computer.
- Be able to read prescriptions including recognizing medication names and directions for use.

Description:
Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for the daily housekeeping duties necessary to maintain the superior cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned clinic area(s).

Internal Medicine Physician
Description: The Staff Physician works as the leader of the patient care team by performing a variety of direct patient services. Patient care responsibilities include patient assessment, determination of diagnosis, development and execution of a treatment plan, and monitoring patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school recognized by the Arkansas State Medical Board with a MD or DO degree.
- Maintain a current and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of Arkansas.
- Maintain a valid DEA certificate.
- Have sufficient knowledge and experience to competently perform the duties of this position.

Description:
The LPN works as part of a care team and assists the physicians; provide nursing and counseling skills to patients, and other procedures. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as an integral member of the healthcare team by providing direct patient care, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, educating patients, and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Current, unrestricted Arkansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Nutritionist
Description: The Nutritionist promotes health through nutrition by designing, implementing, and teaching nutrition techniques and programs and maintaining third-party reimbursement approvals. Nutritionists will review the physician's diagnosis, and design and implement therapeutic nutritional care plans for patients utilizing general dietetic standards and regulations. They will also educate and provide guidance to staff, patients, and families regarding diet and food plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, food management, or any other related field. However, higher degrees would offer better opportunities for advancement.
- Registered Dietitian (preferred).
- Awareness of diverse types of properties of food.
- Awareness of public health norms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Environmental Service Technician II (Transportation Driver)
Description:
The Environmental Service Technician II (Medical Transportation Driver) is responsible for the transport of patients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical office, and their private home in a safe and professional manner. Drivers will be responsible for keeping the vehicles clean and operable.
Qualifications:
- Must be capable of taking and following instructions and of working steadily and efficiently and be neat in appearance.
- Must be at least 26 years of age or over with a clear driving history.
- Must have basic knowledge of van maintenance and a valid driver’s license.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- This employee will be required to lift up 50lbs at times.
Medical & Dental Billing Specialist
Description:
This position is responsible for processing medical and dental insurance claims, resolving billing issues, monitoring unpaid claims, and ensuring accurate reimbursement from patients and third-party payers.
Qualifications:

Behavioral Care Manager (Collaborative Care Model – CoCM)
Description:
The behavioral health care manager is a core member of the collaborative care team, including the patient’s medical provider and psychiatric consultant, as well as the larger primary care team or medical team. The behavioral health care manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating the mental and physical health care of patients on an assigned patient caseload with the patient’s medical provider and, when appropriate, other mental health providers.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Social Worker, Registered Nurse (BSN recommended), Nurse Practitioner, or Licensed Psychologist
- A working background and or education background in Behavioral Health services preferred.
- Ability to interact with other professionals.
- Knowledge of how to document and coordinate program development goals.
- Working knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments and brief behavioral interventions for common mental health disorders, when appropriate (e.g., motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatment, behavioral activation).

Enrollment/Intake Specialist
Description:
The Enrollment/Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and guardians seeking services through the School-Based Health Center. This position is responsible for coordinating the patient enrollment and intake process, educating patients and families about available services, verifying eligibility, obtaining and maintaining required documentation, and ensuring accurate patient registration in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Have the ability to deal professionally with the public; have knowledge of other agencies involved with human services.
