EAFHC – West Memphis
Internal Medicine Physician
Description: The Staff Physician works as the leader of the patient care team by performing a variety of direct patient services. Patient care responsibilities include patient assessment, determination of diagnosis, development and execution of a treatment plan, and monitoring patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school recognized by the Arkansas State Medical Board with a MD or DO degree.
- Maintain a current and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of Arkansas.
- Maintain a valid DEA certificate.
- Have sufficient knowledge and experience to competently perform the duties of this position.
- Can relate with effectiveness to patients and other providers of the community health center.
- CPR, PALS (as appropriate), and ACLS training is required and should be kept current.
Nutritionist
Description: The Nutritionist promotes health through nutrition by designing, implementing, and teaching nutrition techniques and programs and maintaining third-party reimbursement approvals. Nutritionists will review the physician's diagnosis, and design and implement therapeutic nutritional care plans for patients utilizing general dietetic standards and regulations. They will also educate and provide guidance to staff, patients, and families regarding diet and food plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition, food management, or any other related field. However, higher degrees would offer better opportunities for advancement.
- Registered Dietitian (preferred).
- Awareness of diverse types of properties of food.
- Awareness of public health norms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Awareness of the nutritional content of different types of food.
- Highly organized.
Registered Dietician
Description: The Dietician creates nutrition plans to improve the health and physical condition of patients. Their main duties include analyzing patients’ health status, goals, and dietary restrictions, tracking clients’ dietary intake and progress, and educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet. As well as consulting with physicians and health care personnel to determine the nutritional needs and dietary restrictions of the patient or client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of dietetics with courses in food preparation and service.
- State license.
- Certification from the American Dietary Association preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a related field of dietary work.
- A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Description: The LPN works as part of a care team and assists the physicians; provides nursing and counseling skills to patients, and other procedures at our Women's Health Center. The LPN is involved in continuous Quality Improvement practices and measures in which the practice focus is based on a Patient-Centered Medical Home model of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license and certification.
- Graduate of a licensed accredited institution.
- Able to counsel and reinforce teaching to patients.
- Able to evaluate and initiate procedures.
RN Triage Nurse
Description: The RN Triage Nurse must have a broad knowledge base of general nursing practice and knowledge of acute practice based on skill level. The ideal candidate has good history-taking skills, is able to do a quick and accurate assessment, performs accurate and complete documentation, has strong computer skills, and has good organization skills.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and certified by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certified.
- Maintain medical proficiency as set forth by the Nurse Manager.
Dental Assistant
Description: The Certified Dental Assistant is an essential part of the dental care team, providing crucial chairside assistance and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Their role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at facilitating effective patient care and supporting the dentist during examinations and treatments.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Assistant license or a graduate from assisting school.
- High school graduate.
- Ability to greet people and be courteous.
Laboratory Assistant
Description: The Laboratory Assistant is integral to the efficient operation of the laboratory. They will be responsible for performing venipunctures on pediatric, teenage, adult, and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have specimen processing experience, but it is not required. Applicants need to be reliable and punctual and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform duties as instructed.
- High school graduate.
- Specialized training with certification in phlebotomy or on-the-job training with documentation of experience in the laboratory field.
Behavioral Health Case Manager (LMSW) (COCM)
Description: The Behavioral Health Case Manager is responsible for patient-centered services including: linking patients and family members with health care; psychosocial and other services to ensure timely, coordinated access to medically appropriate levels of health support services; ongoing assessment of the patients’ and family members’ needs and personal support systems; and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
- Working background and or educational background in Behavioral Health services preferred.
- Ability to interact with other professionals.
- Knowledge of how to document and coordinate program development goals.
Senior Accountant
Description: The Senior Accountant will assist with planning, organizing, and directing the financial operations of the East Arkansas Family Health Center, providing financial controls to maintain accountability of accounting activities and to ensure the most effective utilization of fiscal resources. The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing the financial statements, maintaining cash controls, managing payroll and personnel administration, purchasing, and maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- The required knowledge, skills, and attitude through completing a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration and/or completing the second level of a recognized accounting program, combined with related financial experience.
- Experience in an accounting position with specific experience in fund accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience in accounting system management.
- Excellent computer skills with spreadsheet and word processing ability.
Billing Specialist
Description: The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for filing third-party insurance claims and handling all state Medicare and Medicaid transactions for both medical and dental departments.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Records maintenance skills: ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports; knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures; ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Outreach Insurance Assister
Description: The Outreach Assister is responsible for assisting consumers (individuals) in assigned counties (Crittenden, Poinsett, Mississippi, and Phillips) with understanding insurance options, determining eligibility, and facilitating enrollment in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) through an online web portal. Outreach Assister is expected to meet set performance metrics instituted by the Arkansas Insurance Department.
Qualifications:
- Employee must either have or acquire a Career Readiness Certificate via the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people of all socioeconomic levels.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills and ability to analyze and accurately interpret information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
Security Guard
Description: The Security Officer position is directly responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees, and company assets. The person will perform security patrols of interior and exterior designated areas. And will ensure compliance and enforcement of EAFHC safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Three years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple facilities.
- Ability to successfully manage different projects at once and meet deadlines.
- The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 75lbs.
Facilities Maintenance Technician
Description: The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures that all facilities remain in operating form. Daily tasks vary based on what needs attention at the time but can frequently include repairs, aesthetic work, or tending to the facility’s machinery. Assist with EVS general cleaning of the home unit, maintain lawn, and organize lawn care equipment.
Qualifications:
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems.
- Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity.
- Carpentry capabilities to handle basic repairs around all facilities.
- Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and patients pleasantly.
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed exemplarily and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
- Physical stamina to handle a complete shift of being active and working in the facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Environmental Service Technician III (Floor Technician)
Description: The Environmental Service Technician III (Floor Tech) is responsible for VCT floor maintenance, keeping floors clean, stripped, waxed, buffed, and carpet cleaned at all times. The Environmental Service Technician III is responsible for daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning in assigned areas as needed by the department.
Qualifications:
- Must be capable of taking and following instructions, and of working steadily and efficiently; and be neat in appearance.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Two years' experience in a related field can be substituted for the above requirements.
Environment Service Technician II (Medical Transportation Driver)
Description: The Environmental Service Technician II (Medical Transportation Driver) is responsible for transporting patients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices, and their private homes in a safe and professional manner. Drivers will be responsible for keeping the vehicles clean and operable.
Qualifications:
- Must be capable of taking and following instructions for working steadily and efficiently and be neat in appearance.
- Must be at least 26 years of age or over with a clear driving history.
- Must have basic knowledge of van maintenance and a valid driver’s license.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- This employee will be required to lift up to 50lbs at times.
EAFHC – Helena
Nurse Practitioner
Description: The Nurse Practitioner works as a part of the patient care team performing a variety of direct patient care services. Patient care responsibilities include patient assessment, determination of diagnosis, development and execution of a treatment plan, and monitoring patient progress.
Qualifications:

- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- Maintain a current certification and unrestricted licensure to practice in the State of Arkansas.
- Maintain a valid DEA certificate and prescribing authority for the state of Arkansas.
- Have sufficient experience to carry out the duties of this position.
- Must have the ability to relate with effectiveness to patients and other providers and staff of the community health center.
- BLS/CPR, PALS (as required), and ACLS training are required and should be kept current.
- Have a valid collaboration agreement in place with a supervising EAFHC physician.
Dentist
Description: The Staff Dentist performs dental procedures, supervises immediate dental personnel, and provides patient education and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Ability to assess dental needs in relation to the patient’s health and positively relate to the patients and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited dental institution with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD).
- The dentist must be a dental healthcare provider licensed to practice in the state where the health center is located.
Environmental Service Technician I – (Housekeeping)
Description: Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for the daily housekeeping duties necessary to maintain the superior cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned clinic area(s).
Qualifications:
- Must be capable of taking and following instructions and working steadily and efficiently and being neat in appearance.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Two years of experience in a related field can be substituted for the above.
Healthy Partners – Blytheville
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Description: The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide clinical behavioral health services in a manner that upholds the health center’s mission and quality standards, and results in improved health outcomes, overall satisfaction, and compliance to the operational and fiscal capacity of the health center.
Qualifications:
- One of the following: Master’s degree in social work or related field, with a minimum of two years experience as a therapist and a current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (or working toward licensure); or a Doctoral degree in psychology, with a minimum of two years experience as a therapist and a current license to practice as a Psychologist (or working toward licensure).
- Competency in providing cognitive and behavioral interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups with behavioral health and/or substance abuse problems in a primary care setting. Substance abuse experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with primary care staff, patients, and other behavioral health clinicians.
Dental Receptionist
Description: The Dental Receptionist will answer incoming calls, schedule dental appointments, collect payments, and direct patient flow during normal business operation hours.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or completed trade school in secretarial field.
- Ability to work regular clinic hours.
Earle Family Health Center
X-ray/Radiology Technician
Description: We are looking for a skilled X-ray/Radiology Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in X-ray technology and possess a deep understanding of anatomy. As an X-ray/Radiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services to support patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in radiology technology.
- Radiologic technologist license.
- Proficiency in X-ray technology and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
