Patricia Devine is a licensed clinical social worker with more than two decades of experience in the mental health field. She has been a dedicated provider within the integrated care model and Behavioral Health department of East Arkansas Family Health Center for the past 7 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and her Master of Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Passionate about helping clients overcome challenges and reach their full potential, Devine has worked with diverse populations ranging from adolescents (10+) to older adults. Her professional background includes experience in school-based, outpatient, and inpatient settings.
While she takes a generalist approach, Devine incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive processing, and other exposure strategies, including written exposure therapy (WET), into her practices and places an emphasis on a strength-based perspective. Patricia also believes in empowering her clients with the ability to improve their own circumstances and improve their overall quality of life.
Outside of practicing social work, Devine enjoys writing poetry and has published one collection. She also loves fishing and learning new line dances.
