East Arkansas Family Health Center – Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Updated 3/20/2020
In light of the Coronvirus Pandemic, ALL Saturday Medical Operations will be suspended until further notice. These services include; Medical, Dental, & Pharmacy.
* Due to late notice, Pharmacy Service will be open ONLY for Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 9am to 1pm. All future Saturday Pharmacy Services will be suspended as mentioned.
* On Monday, March 23, 2020, all operations will continue at normal hours Mondays-Fridays.
East Arkansas Family Health Center – Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Updated 3/18/2020
In our effort to adequately take care of the communities we serve, we have spent the past weeks learning about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and have been working diligently to make the necessary adjustments to our clinical operations. We are following the latest guidance from the Arkansas Department Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. EAFHC encourages our patients to be proactive in protecting themselves against the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, and to take necessary measures if they believe they have contracted the disease. To reduce the risk of infections please adhere to the following general precautions:
- Avoid close contact with sick people
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (>60% alcohol)
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unclean hands
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover all coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands
- Cough and sneeze into your elbow instead of on your hand
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces with wipes
- Consider refraining from shaking hands
- Perform routine environmental cleaning

East Arkansas Family Health Center – Marvell, officially opened December 18, 2017 – Updated 2/1/2018
Along with our Helena Family Health Center, this new location provides additional medical services to families who reside in Phillips County and surrounding areas.
Dental Service at Earle Family Health Center is NOW OPEN – Updated 10/11/17
Along with medical and laboratory services, we found that dental service was a growing need for this community, and adding these services will help address the oral health needs of this community.
East Arkansas Family Health Center Fitness Park is NOW OPEN – Updated 8/18/17
On August 18, 2017 EAFHC unveiled the East Arkansas Family Health Center Fitness Park. This park features a 1/4 mile walking trail, along with 875 square feet of workout space, 15 fitness stations that are durable, and weather-resistant outdoor exercise equipment.
The equipment includes push-up bars, sit-up boards, a chest press, a lateral pull, stationary exercise bikes, waist rotators, ski walkers, elliptical machines, and a wheelchair accessible hand cycle. The equipment rests on an indestructible 3/4 thick rubber gym mat, which is resistant to bacterial growth. The stations do not have free weights or equipment that can be removed. The stations are also placed near our 1/4 mile walking trail to help enhance residents’ exercise options.
East Arkansas Family Health Center, Inc. welcomes Dr. Alexandra Korte, Pediatric Dentist – Updated 8/7/17
Dr. Korte attended dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She continued on to complete two years of specialty training at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, where she earned her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Korte focuses on the care of children from birth through adolescence, providing services to children of Crittenden, Phillips, and surrounding counties. Good dental care during childhood sets the foundation for a lifetime of healthy teeth. We are thrilled to have her join the team at East Arkansas Family Health Center.
Dental Service at Helena Family Health Center Opens – Updated 12/17/17
East Arkansas Family Health Center, Inc. added dental services at our Helena site. The grand opening was held on December 17, 2017. This opening provides a much-needed service to the residents of Phillips and surrounding counties.
